Minister for Communities and Return, Dalibor Jevtic, met with the Ambassador of Switzerland in Kosovo Krystyna Marty. The meeting was focused on the return process and the position of non-majority communities in Kosovo and the current security situation in the return areas where the Serbs and other minority communities live. Special topics of today’s meeting were the demolition of Serbian houses in Djakovica, as well as incidents in which targets were returnees and their property. Jevtic reiterated his concern about special events and the inadequate response by the relevant in order to prevent incidents themselves.more

Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic today attended a forum on property and housing rights of communities organized by the OSCE Mission. The aim of the forum was to identify improvements that are necessary when the current legal framework in terms of the policy and to identify solutions to unresolved issues related to the expropriation of land, regularization of informal settlements and prevent illegal occupation of property.more
