Minister Sasa Rasic, along with Minister of Internal Affairs, Bajram Rexhepi, the head of the European Commission Liaison Office, Mr. Kjartan Bjoernsson, USAID official, representatives of UNHCR, ICO, UNMIK, OSCE, Mayor of Municipal Assembly of Mitrovica Avni Kastrati and implementing partners Mercy Corps and KAAD, participated today in the ceremony of setting the groundbreaking for the rebuilding of houses for 38 families in "Roma Neighborhood" in the southern part of Mitrovica.more
MCR SINGS AGREEMENTS WITH FIVE MUNICIPALITIES FOR REALIZATION OF PROJECTS

In the Ministry for Communities and Returns, Minister, Sasa Rasic and Permanent Secretary, Zana Kotorri, signed today five agreements with municipalities for the implementation of the Concept Document for Multi-sectoral Project for community development. Signatories to the agreement with the MCR were: Municipality of Prizren, Dragash Strpce, Klina and Istok. more

Ambassador of the UK Embassy, Andy Sparkes, Minister of the Ministry for Communities and Return, Sasa Rasic, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, Raif Elezi, Deputy Mayor of Municipal Assembly of Prizren, Ruzhdi Rexha, and representatives of UNHCR and the NGO Danish Refugee Council (DRC) held a first high level Project Steering Committee meeting for the project 'Sustainable Return to Prizen town', which is co-funded by the UK Government and the MCR. more
